Title:『奇妙な花たち/ The Strange Flowers』
size: S4(333×333mm)×4
Do flowers bloom from order, or do they emerge from chaos?
Guided by this question, I let my impulses lead—dropping threads, stitching freely, layering handmade washi sequins to give form and depth to The Strange Flowers.
Gold and silver echo light and shadow; black holds silence and depth; red pulses with the heat of life.
As chance and intention intertwine, it felt as though the flowers themselves willed their own blooming onto the cloth.
