私たち生命体の起源は、果てしない宇宙の中にある。私たちの存在の起源は、果てしない宇宙の彼方にあるのかもしれない。地球に降り注いだ隕石が運んだ成分は、私たちの体を構成する物質と同じだとする説もある。生命とは、宇宙から零れ落ちた一滴の雫であり、また宇宙のエネルギーによって育まれ、生かされている存在なのかもしれない。
この作品は、金糸・銀糸・黒糸を用いた幾何学刺繍と墨、金箔の表現によって、宇宙の根源的なエネルギーと生命の繋がりを視覚化している。同じ構図を反転させた二枚の作品が対となり、一つの宇宙を形作る。それは、対極にあるものが互いに響き合い、ひとつの秩序を生み出すことを象徴する。
The origin of our existence may lie within the boundless universe. Some theories suggest that the components carried by meteorites that fell to Earth are the same as the substances that make up our bodies. Life may be a single droplet spilled from the cosmos, nurtured and sustained by its vast energy.
This work visualizes the fundamental connection between cosmic energy and life through geometric embroidery with gold, silver, and black threads, combined with sumi ink and gold leaf. Two mirrored pieces form a pair, together creating a single universe. They symbolize how opposites resonate with one another, giving rise to harmony and order.
